We are proud of our 2025 lambs and offer for sale a group of really nice ewe lambs! We used four rams as flock sires: Sweetgrass Karsen (JSBA registration number: D071-24), Hillside Daniel (JSBA registration number: E056-24), Hillside Winter (JSBA registration number: G007-24), and Hillside Louie (JSBA registration number: E057-24). This mix of sires allows us to assemble starter flocks of ewe lambs and an unrelated ram lamb. We will be glad to advise on your selections. Moreover, pedigree information may be found by using the pedigree function on the JSBA website (JSBA.org).
Accompanying each photo is a legend that includes the dam and sire, the dam’s JSBA registration number (in parentheses), and whether the ewe lamb is two-horned or four-horned. Lilac ewe lambs are indicated.
If you have questions or wish to express interest in a particular ewe lamb, please contact us via e-mail ([email protected]).
These ewe lambs are economically priced to allow almost anyone to become a conservator of this magnificent breed. Lambs are available for pick-up now; alternatively, they may be kept here and exposed to a ram during November and picked up in December. This option will entail a small deposit to ensure continued interest and a small additional fee to hold the lambs for November breeding and December pick-up. (Please note: We routinely and successfully expose our ewe lambs for breeding in November and lambing as yearlings in April; however, not all ewe lambs will cycle during their first fall season, and not all ewe lambs that are bred will lamb the next spring. Please feel free to ask about our experiences with breeding ewe lambs for lambing as yearlings.)
