As we continue our planned flock downsizing, we offer adult ewes for sale. These ewes are not culls! They are young, healthy, fertile ewes, all having weaned lambs this year. (Photos of their 2026 lambs may be viewed on pages EWE LAMBS and RAM LAMBS.) Some ewes were selected for sale, because we kept and added their offspring to our flock; these ewes will live on through their progeny at Hillside Jacobs. For other ewes, we simply made the painful decision to sell and reduce flock size. All ewes are registered with the Jacob Sheep Breeders Association, and their purchase will include their registration certificate. We know these ewes well and will be glad to answer questions.
We have bred and registered Jacobs for more than 30 years, and we have a good flock! This notwithstanding, our adult ewes are reasonably priced, significantly less than often seen advertised for non-pedigreed Jacobs. Please do not hesitate to inquire about what it will cost for you to purchase a high-quality, purebred Hillside ewe; you might be pleasantly surprised.
