Each year we sell a few adult ewes, so we can keep an equal number (or fewer!) ewe lambs and not increase flock size. This year, we will attempt a hefty downsize of our flock and expect to have an even larger number of adult ewes for sale. The ewes we select to sell to other breeders are not culls, but instead a ewe might be offered for sale because we are keeping one of her lambs or perhaps we have other related ewes in the flock. The ewes we offer for sale are healthy, and fertile, having produced and raised lambs this year. Information on their pedigrees may be found by performing a pedigree search on the JSBA (Jacob Sheep Breeders Association) website (JSBA.org). Please contact us ([email protected]) with questions and expressions of interest in our adult ewes. The ewes are purebred and registered; each ewe's JSBA registration number may be found within the parentheses.
Our ewes are economically priced and available for pick-up now. Alternatively, with a small deposit to ensure continued interest and a small additional breeding fee, the ewes may be held here for breeding in November and pick-up as bred ewes in December. Please contact us for questions on how this option may be arranged.
